I have just had a third external hard drive die on me for no apparent reason. It's so unbelievably infuriating! Nothing happened to damage it - it was simply working one day and not the next.
I was still within my one year warranty, so I took it back to the shop and they told me they can replace it, but have to send the broken one back in tact and won't be able to recover my files. Alternatively, I can pay someone hundreds of pounds to recover my files, which will also invalidate my warranty so I won't be able to get a replacement. What a joke!
What's worst is that this has happened to me twice before - the exact same situation. I'm thinking of just renting out a dedicated hosting server - just one server just for me to store all my photos, videos etc. But would it be more reliable and less likely to fail on me? Who knows?!

I wouldn’t usually take to the internet to ask for help but recently I have become struck down by financial crisis and am very much coming to the end of my tether. I am running the risk of losing everything and my bank balance is at an all time low. I have fallen into the process of taking out loans to pay of other loans and I don’t what my way out could possibly be. I have very little income and none of it is expendable at the moment. I have recently heard about same day loans online at places like Wonga. How much trouble are these? I happened to come across an article on Stephen Ireland and his 9.6 million Euros mansion. The footballer and his WAG have thrown open the doors to their gaudy Cheshire mansion. You know Stephen Ireland don’t you? Yes, the same footballer who was once famous for flashing his underpants on the pitch. You have to check out the picture of this Aston Villa millionaire’s house where he resides along with his partner Jessica Lawlor. The results of an unlimited budget with no or little understanding of style and elegance are quite evident in this mansion. The home looks like a cross between a flash northern nightclub and Dubai hotel. A bright pink bedroom with fairytale decor for the couples five year old, giant neon lit aquarium, purple bed covers, Ireland’s pink trimmed range rover, and the list goes on! I must say this is the tackiest home in the whole of UK, but you should hand it to this footballer and his WAGS. They definitely know how to spend their money. If only they knew when to stop!
